HOW TO PLAY:
Out of colored construction paper, you cut out about 10 -12 Chistmas tree shapes to write your clues on. Each was numbered so they followed the clues in order. Then you say something like, "Your first clue can be found where you brush your teeth". The guests would of course immediately race off to the bathroom to find the next clue by the tooth brushes. You proceed to send them off all over the house collecting the next clue. Finally, for the last one,you give them the clue which would end up where their present was. People have so much fun figuring out the clues and running all over the house.
The children get older, the clues can get more complicated.

Use the word Christmas and have players try to make as many words are they can from this word. When playing this type of word game, you usually don’t count two letter words. If you are playing with young children, then you might want to count two letter words. Assign a time limit for how long players have to come up with words. Christmas games are fun, but you don’t want them to last all day long!
You have two choices for scoring. The easiest way is for the player who comes up with the most words to be declared the winner. When most of your players are older children, teens, or adults, you can assign a numerical value to each word. Score each word based on the number of letters it contains. For example, three-letter words would be worth three points, and four-letter words would be worth four points, and so on. Some Christmas games are harder than others, but keep it fun and make sure you play Christmas games that young children will enjoy too.

HOW TO PLAY:
Gather 10-20 cards and cut each one into 3 or 4 pieces, using straight lines. Shuffle them all up together and lay them out on a flat service such as a dining table or the floor – then put them back together again.
Store the cards in a shoebox for next time. This is fun on a quiet family evening at the beginning of the season as it helps to get everybody into the Christmas spirit!

This game can be played with all ages. Someone needs to be chosen to be the leader. Everyone sits in a circle and has a few pieces of paper, a hard book or tray to draw on, a marker, and optionally some Christmas stickers.
On the call of ‘Go’, everyone puts their book or tray on their head and a blank piece of paper on top of that. The leader has to guide them to draw something, for example “Draw a fireplace, then draw 4 stockings hanging on the fireplace, then draw candy-canes in a basket on the floor, then stick a candy sticker as closest as you can onto one of the stockings”, etc.

This can also be played with all ages. Insert lots of Hershey Chocolate Kisses into a bowl on a table. Divide your group into two teams and have them line up around 10-15 feet away from the table. Give the first people in the row mittens that are slightly larger than they would ever need. On the mark of “Go”, the first player of each team runs to the table (with their mittens on), takes a Hershey’s kiss out from the bowl and tries unwrapping it with the large mittens. After they unwrap it they have to run down and pop it into the next person’s mouth. The next person takes the mittens and runs to the bowl to do the same.
